Terms of use

1. Service and scope

The platform lets you consult availability and included hours, book studios and sessions, pay, cancel and respond to proposed changes. It does not replace a separate enrolment contract for a troupe, course series or other DMA programme.

2. Accounts and representation

Access depends on an active school record and DMA permissions. Each person uses their own account and protects their credentials. Do not share passwords; report unauthorized use.

A parent acting for a child must be authorized to represent them. Record association and notification consent are separate. View-only access does not allow booking, payment or cancellation. Do not use a child account to bypass parent permissions.

3. Booking and payment

Before confirming, check the participant, session type, studio, Montréal date/time, duration and amount. Return to the basket to correct or decline the proposal.

Included sessions confirm after your final confirmation. Chargeable sessions confirm only after verified payment. Returning from Stripe alone is not proof of payment. The booking/cancellation policy explains deadlines and refunds.

4. Studio use

Respect the booked time, other participants, DMA safety instructions and equipment. Independent practice does not include choreographer supervision. Ask the school about supervision and attendance rules for a child.

Do not access another person’s record, alter browser-side prices, disrupt service or submit unlawful content. DMA may restrict access for a security or permission reason; paid bookings and refund requests must be assessed separately.

5. Notices and calendars

App notices and emails help track sessions. Keep contact information accurate and check the app status if email is delayed.

External calendar addition is optional and does not automatically synchronize changes or cancellations. Email/SMS preferences are separate from sign-in and booking rules.

6. Availability and corrections

Availability may change before final confirmation. The server rechecks conflicts and prices. For an error, interruption or Stripe discrepancy, contact DMA with the session reference; do not send a card number or password.

7. Legal rights and requests

These terms do not remove mandatory rights under applicable law, including Québec consumer protections. An app rule does not replace a statutory cancellation or refund right.

Updating these pages does not retroactively increase the price or reduce rights attached to an accepted booking. For questions, disputes or statutory requests, write to ecole@dansemodeaction.ca.
